Julie Evans

Julie recently retired from her role as Chief Financial Officer within Academy Trusts, overseeing both secondary and primary schools. In this role, she held responsibility for finance, operations and HR, providing oversight across complex educational organisations.

Julie brings over 30 years’ experience across the education and charity sectors. Her work has included supporting young people into employment while completing NVQs, as well as delivering leadership training for teachers, including NPQH. She has also worked within Academy Trust structures to strengthen educational delivery and improvement. Julie has been part of senior leadership teams focused on ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Julie has helped establish educational trusts, project managed new school builds, and led financial and operational system changes to support long-term sustainability. In addition, she served as Chair of Governors for over six years.

Julie currently volunteers with Streetmeals, a community-led initiative supporting people experiencing homelessness and poverty.
